You can change your mobile phone number on the Shopee app by following the steps below:
Step 1: Go to the Me tab
Step 2: Select the Settings ⚙️ icon
Step 3: Click on Account & Security
Step 4: Select Phone
Step 5: Enter your New Phone Number
Step 6: Click on Next
Step 7: Select Verification Method (Whatsapp, SMS or Call)
Step 8: Enter the Verification Code sent to your new or updated phone number
Step 9: Click on Next
If you’re unable to change your number in the app, please fill out our Change Mobile Phone Number Application. Here are some reasons you might need to change your number:
Reason | Clarification |
New phone number already registered | Your number may have been recycled by your service provider. |
Unable to complete verification | Your current number may be inactive or unable to receive verification codes. |
Lost mobile phone | You’ve lost access to your phone and need to update your number. |
Old email no longer in use/lost | You’ve lost access to your phone number and are unable to use your old email to retrieve the verification code. |
Old number no longer in use/lost | Your old number is no longer active. |
